Brag! Less than 1 month of growth

I can't believe how quickly everything has grown!

30g, Miracle Gro Potting Mix for substrate, black diamond blasting sand for a cap. 6500k lighting. No added ferts. MTSs, mystery snails, ramshorns, and I believe a couple pond snails hitched a ride. A variety of plants - too many to list! Bettas, guppies, ghost shrimp, and a lone cory (have to get more - my others passed). It will be a month of having the tank set up on November 3rd, so this is nearly 4 weeks of growth!

I *think* what I bought was the Zoo Med T-8 Ultra Sun Super Daylight Fluorescent Bulb at 15 watts. It was the only one that looked half decent that would fit the hood that had been sold with my tank (needed an 18" strip) - which in my opinion, makes it even more impressive! I lost a couple of the more sensitive plants, but I'm getting to the point where I've already cut and replanted some.. may have to have a clippings sale in the near future, though with winter coming it may be best to just toss things. :/

It is right in front of a window though that does get some good light for part of the day, so some days I'll open up the shades. After I noticed some algae growth, I've limited the real sunlight and the algae has cleared.

Lol, I know! I may have to sell some clippings soon! Thank you for the compliment though, it's much appreciated.
