Cool Worried about Master Betta Eating Too Much!

Since putting M.B. with the corys and ghost shrimp he has gotten FAT! He eats his food and the wafers I put in for the others. He actually prefers the wafers to his food now. I skipped a feeding day this week hoping that would help but the other fish did not like that! Any tips?

I would put him in a breeder net while feeding the cories. Several other members have had to do that.

dramaqueen - Great idea, just worried about stressing him out. He's so freaking happy in his new 10 gallon! But he has gotten fat in only a week.

bloo97 - Easer said then done since he's in a community tank and likes corry food better then betta food.

It would only be for a few minutes while you fed the others.

Is it the corry Food? If so, do what dramaqueen said, but feed him betta food while he's in there...

Lee's three way breeder with the middle panel and the bottom grate removed. It floats in the tank. I thought the pellet eating was cute at first and then, like yours, he was constantly overdoing it and making himself sick. If you feed him in it, he'll go in voluntarily after a bit. Tango's fine. I do it daily and it's no stress, though he looks mad in this pic. Lol.
