Yeah it would work if the tank were bigger and the jars were bigger. It's a good idea, and it's okay if they see eachother. The only time bettas shouldn't see eachother would be like my old boy Ember... If he were around other bettas he flared so much he ripped his fins. But that's just an exception. It's fine if they're by eachother. Dividers are see through.

Only problem with that is the water in the jars would not get filtered and would have to be cleaned separately. Costco sells HUGE jars of pickles, but I dont think you could ever get that smell out! :-p

lol with my other pickle jars I bleached them and cleaned them with hot water for a long time. But yeah, with my pickle jars I change the water every few days.

looks awesome1 I can't wait to get Bue! But if you don't mind me asking, why are you setting up a community when you decided you couldn't care for all your bettas and wanted to downsize????

Pet store fish are shipped in cars and trucks, too but just in bags that have only an ounce of water

The community tank is a family thing. We already have one 50 gallon tank in the living room. The other one my boyfriend and his family wants to help me build.

I want to put a betta in them, but the fish are cold water fish and the temp stays about 70. I don't want to freeze the bettas lol. I wanted to put Skai in my community tank.
