Betta Breeding tips

over the past few days my elephant ear placket male betta Sparrow has been building a bubble nest. Ive only had him for about a week and this is my first experience with a bubble nest, ive heard that means there happy and healthy?
Anyways sometime in the future I would like to try breeding bettas, at the moment I don't have to room, extra tank or money to do so. Plus im just beginning in the betta world.
But I was wondering what are some things I need to when it comes to breeding bettas?
Is there a step by step list?
and what are the esentials to now before during and after breeding bettas?

Thanks for any help :)

Basically all you really need is

Live food, especially bbs
Spawn/ growout tank/tub
Jars/bottles/tanks for your bullies
heaters if you water temp isnt warm enough

what I do is
Separate your pair from view
Fatten them up especially the female.
Let the girl flare at some males every now and again
put male in a bare bottom tank with some hidey places for girl
put girl in tank but safely in a jar
male will blow a nest
let out girl
wait a few days
spawn
take out girl
wait a few more days
babies will be ,free swimming take out dad and feed babies

Then keep feeding and giving them clean water until they are big/aggressive enough to jar

Before:
- Understand their water and care needs; specially CT need extra care.
- Understand their behavior; how they swim in fighting mode and in breeding mode.
- Prepare everything you will need, specially fry food.

During:
- Patience is essential, Some may take longer to spawn than others. But make sure you understand signs of too much beating. Exceptional vicious males only need half an hour to beat the female half dead.
- Do not disturb the male when he is egg/fry rearing
- Other than that there is nothing to do but wait for fry to hatch.

After :
Make sure you know how to care for fry. This is the real challenge - breeding is the easy part.
Understand signs of illness so you can take immediate action if it happens.
