1 Gallon tanks

What is a good 1 gallon tank? Preferably under $20, and I already have a heater. Filters are optional but I'm open to any good 1 gallon tanks/bowls!

I have one of these and I really like it. Great little QT tank for when anyone is sick and needs some treatment.

I have a little 7.5 watt heater in there and it keeps it nice and toasty when I need to use it. If you get it, make sure it is not bare-bottomed if you want to use the LED base. The lights are BRIGHT and my fish went nuts when I first turned it on. I fixed the issue with marbles.

Yep, Bettas hate bright light so unless you mute it as Seki did, a terrible tank.

Just get a Kritter Keeper and a filter. Peachii gave you some very good advice and examples in your earlier thread asking about a one-gallon: You don't need an actual aquarium; especially since you don't plan on using the light very often.

They have these in a 1 gallon size also but a two gallon is much easier to heat evenly and these don't take up much space. They run about $10.00 and can be found in the housewares section. I use a few of them on a regular basis.

I'm guessing for whatever reason you want only a 1 gallon, even if you can get a bigger one for less money?

Petsmart has a 1 gallon tetra plastic half moon for about 15.00. I used mine until I was lucky enough to get free tanks. The drawbacks are plastic and the light runs on battery unless you buy a USB cable or unless you have a phone charger that will work. I didn't love it but it was the most inexpensive 1 gallon I found in Canada in pet stores. There's also the 2.5 gallon old fashioned type glass with glass lid for under 20 same store.

Finn,

I'd go with a 2.5 - 3G tank if you plan it as a long-term home for your betta. 1G will work for quarantine, etc.
