Help with betta I.D.

I agree, when I was given Fish he was very pale and had few spots, he was also sick which had an effect on his color. He colored up some over time then when I put him in the divided 10 his color exploded! He is now a vivid orange and has more spots than ever.

I agree with everyone else, he looks like a veil tail peach butterfly that may/may not be a dalmatian. I only see one spot on him right now, but more may pop up! He's really, really pretty!!

bettalover.. he's not a spade.. he is a VT.. spades have short tails almost like PK

He has 2 or 3 tiny tiny tiny spots (they are about the size of a pin head). I assumed they were where he'd hurt himself or something. I love his colours as he is.

I thought I'd get a betta as they come in nice pretty colours; I have goldfish and wanted something that wasn't white or orange - turns out I picked a "pale" betta rather than something really coloured like I had originally wanted; but I much prefer him to the normal coloured ones.

He'll probably color up in a few weeks if you do good water changes and heat the tank. Giving him a variety of good foods will help him color up too.

I've had him almost a month now and his body has darkened slightly but the rest of him is the same.
