Help !

Hello, I have set up a breeding tank and, my female betta is starting to look as if she's pregnant. Right under her gills the area is getting really big and kind of white, she's not showing any sign of being depressed or sick. Just getting big. Is this normal ?

It sounds like she is filling up with eggs. Have you been conditioning your pair (feeding them stuff like brine shrimp and bloodworms)? Conditioning will help the female develop eggs.
