Hello from Western maryland.

Washington County resident. Been in the hobby since 1984 when I bred bettas as a 4th grader. No fry lived but they did hatch. Bred nicer bettas later on with a little more success. Ran a wholesale business until 2002 which burnt me out so I switched to reef until recently when the betta bug bit me again.

The breeder I used 10 years ago is gone so I am looking for someone semi local. Love half moon butterfly bettas but hate shipping.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Jayloo is from West Virginia and has some nice copper hm's available. He's an excellent breeder and is also the president of the Eastern Betta Society which is a chapter of the IBC.

Thanks,
I did send Jayloo a PM. Saw a betta he had for sale but could not reply in the post because I don't have 100 posts yet.

Sent him an email in case he doesn't see his pm. I saw a male HM he was selling for $5 what a deal that was. The pet shops here sell "half moons" for $10-$15 that barely qualify as deltas.

He's got a post in our classified section about some females he's selling. I'd buy one but I just can't have anymore. No room.
