Well I was picking up some supplies last week at PetsMart and I decided to take a look at their betta display. Saw the saddest looking little marble HM and left, resolving my cold heart against his sadness. That didn't work, so now he's back and we're working on some mild fin rot that he has going. Yesterday he was still too weak to actually swim (sort of attempted to wiggle over to a plant and hide) but today he was able to eat some food and swim around. The fins are still clamped but a diet of frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms will make him stronger I'm sure. Named after the Ice Giant King.

Hello...

The best pic I could get of his tail. He doesn't like leaving the plant/log area.

Ohhh. He's pretty. Does he have blue eyes too? I don't see fin rot though. I'll take your word for it. :)

Keep us update on how he does.

If those are blue eyes, they are stunning! What a beautiful fish. :)

They are, in fact, blue! Maybe that's why I couldn't leave him alone.

Well, he's feeling a LOT better today. I saw him taking a MASSIVE dump. It was crazy, I thought he was going to implode if he got that much out of him. He's also using his tail to swim now instead of just his pectorals.

Hello. I'm feeling better because I had a poop half the size of my head.

Swimming near the surface where the current is stronger.

Best shot of caudal fin, redness from the fin rot has gone away over the course of the night but still a big tear near the top that needs healing.
