Haha, it's like a disease. My family and my housemates all try to keep me out of the pet store because they know I just can't help myself :P

^^^ Yep my mom's been catching on. She complains EVERY time and refuses to buy the things... and gets mad when I do.. My dad hasn't caught on yet so I go with him ;) He'll just buy whatever I pick out (within reason).

I'm dying to get another betta too! And I just got one the other day @.@" They just come in so many colors! And types! I have an empty tank calling to me too but my mom won't let me fill it!!! Arg.

Post pics if you decide on filling that tank ^o^

I just bought 4 this week! That's the best part of being an adult! My kids love having them in their rooms. My husband doesn't say much, just kind of shakes his head at me. My son and I both love visiting the 4 petstores in town and trying to find the ones we feel an instant connection with. Sometimes we come home with none and other times it's 4. I even drove back to a pet store to get one male because I couldn't stop thinking about him. But I think that is going to have to stop because we have run out of tanks/heaters/space. So we'll just take good care of the ones we have.

Lol whenever I have to get supplies, I can't go near the fish selection or I'll take a couple home. :P I had 20 bettas at once and that was way too much for me to handle, but I loved every one and I never regretted buying them. :)

I had this same problem with tarantulas, good thing is that I have a lot of empty tanks. Well, all I need is gravel and fish.
