Betta Bowl Water Changes (2.7 gallons)

I'm going to be getting another betta soon (it'll be my second) because I have a spare bowl. It's a 3 gallon bowl but has about 2.6 or 2.7 gallons of water in it now.

It has a heater, thermometer, a plastic plant, some gravel, a log-shaped decoration for hiding, and a lamp next to it. Already added water conditioner (it's tap water). I'm wondering, once I get my new betta, how many times a week I'll have to change the water? And how much should I change each time?

I think one 50% and one 100% water change per week would be an appropriate schedule. I know this is what some members do with their 2.5 gallons, and I don't think a half gallon would create a drastic change in routine.
