Betta won't eat :(

My tank's airator seems to be pushing the food to the ground, where my betta won't eat it.

I'm worried he's going to die lol.

that is not a funny subject haha and if you know that it is pushing the food to the bottom and he wont eat it, turn it off during feeding time so he can eat =] and then turn in back on :D

The moment I turned it off and dropped some pellets he went at it haha.

Question: Do some bettas only eat like, one to two pellets during feeding time?

not sure if that was sarcasm or not lol but every betta is different with the amount of food they can get in a day. I have a unique diet for one of my guys b/c he can not eat hard foods. But the rule of thumb is their stomach is the size of their eye. So they MAY act like the are STARVING after being fed lol but they are not haha.. also ALL those betta food containers they say to feed as much as the betta can eat in a couple minutes is total BUNK! b/c a betta can eat A LOT of pellets in 1-2 mins haha

Alright thanks for the information!

And nope not sarcasm lol, I'm super new to betta care. My roommate's had betta's for four years, but since he's not here at the moment I feel like a fish out of water. This day's dedicated to learning lol. (<3 research).

Most people feed their fish 2-3 pellets twice a day.
