Me new Betta Haruki! (pic heavy)

I went to pet smart, looking for a specific black betta, well, they had none.
so I look around and this CT is swimming and he looked at me O__O
It was wierd, then he went back to swimming and flaring at the other fish.
I even saw one dead betta :'( It was a really beautiful turquois CT behind this one.
I went to the mall, not sure if I would get him, and I came back :D
So now he is with me, and hopefully he will do well.
I named him Haruki meaning bright in Japanese. I think it fits him.
Tell me what you guys think of him?






This will be his temporary home, because I have a 5 gallon but I have to go to my mom's to get it, and set it up and all.
I think he will do fine in here for at least a week or two, until I can get it.
I have a bamboo stick, (leaves out of water) and an aqua fern in there.
I can't wait till I get the 5 gallon though.

He is warming up to this new home.
I just hope I don't stress him out when I move him to an even bigger tank...
I laughed when I first got up, and wlked over there and he swims up and looks at me.
I fed him and when I picked his food up, he started flaring, like he was showing off in order to get the goodies :3
I love this fish already
