He was such a good boy. Never chewed his tail, always wanting attention and food. I guess it's as much my fault as anything. After an incident with a previous betta jumping (thankfully we were in the room and put him back in his tank right away) all my tanks have been as covered as possible. Nāga's was no different. It was covered except for a 1/2" strip at the front and it was this strip he somehow made it out of the tank through. I found him on the floor yesterday morning. I put him back in water immediately hoping he hadn't been there too long because he was still somewhat damp feeling (not a crispy chip). But alas it was too late
I only had him a short while.. he arrived March 10th. I feel as though I've failed him. I don't understand why they jump :( The tanks will be 100% well covered from now on though.
