I have this Betta I got from Wal-Mart. One of the supposed females, turned out to be male. I have had this Betta for over four months. I put four Cories in with him and he chased one into the ground killing it. So I took him out and put him in a tank by himself. Anyone else have a Betta like this? One that you can't have anything with?

P.S. I also had a lot of plants and hiding spots for the Cories.

My HM Brady chased the cories I had in his tank relentlessly. He never hurt them but he never gave them a moment's peace.

The poor things were so stressed out that I had to put them in my community tank and they are much happier these days :)

Yeppers!! My ghost shrimp all got eaten and/or killed after I put them in my bettas tanks.

I think he took a chunk out of the cory and that is what killed it. I don't remember that much. It was a skunk Cory. My mom was kinda aggravated, she loves the Skunks.

I have my shrimps in a 10 gallon that is divided and they crawl up and over the dividers. I haven't had a problem with them getting eat. But I haven't had a problem with my Cherry shrimp, and Malaya shrimp gettin eat.
