What can I do for my betta?

My family should be okay taking care of him. Their fine as long as I show them what is the proper things to do to take care of him.

On top of the tank there is a gap between the water and a plastic dish that has holes in it with some rocks sitting ontop to keep it in place but so he can get plenty of air and no unwanted things get in there.

With the water changes if I do them daily should I be doing half changes?

It's best if you are doing 100% changes.

Alright, as long as he's getting enough oxygen, it should be okay.

Okay. That's what I figured. I've been doing them every two days previously but I'll switch to every day.

Awesome. I'm quite excited to get a new tank set up for him when I get home.

The funnest part (for me, at least) is decorating the entire tank to my own liking...haha. It's just something to busy my hands with when I'm doing drowning in homework. Which I am right now.

I totally know what you mean!! I love decorating stuff so it'll be a lot of fun to get various different things to put in his tank
