Plant recomendations

Well I've had some sucess and some failure with my plants. I'm on my iPhone which won't let me copythe image location so I'll have to post a link to the album page http://www.bettafish.com/album.php?a...pictureid=5399
the floating plants have died off mainly due to the filter pushing them underwater where they ether got caught in the intake or lost their roots to the plastic plant by the filter
the big plant is a gem, I higly recomed it. both the oto's and Nemoy like resting on it's big broad leaves, the ghost shimp like hanging out on the undersides, or in the curled leaf at the back.
Now for my dillema I want to replace the little plastic one with eather a small plant or decoration, and should I replace the floating plants? Help and opinions would be greatly apreciated

You could probably replace the fake plant with another real one or find a decoration that gives your betta a place to hide. As for the floating plants, you could probably get something to attach them to the side of the tank, that way the filter won't push them down. Hope this helps. :)

I would use Anacharis. This is what I have in my aquarium and it's really pretty and easy to maintain. From what I understand it won't ever stop growing, haha. You can cut off pieces and let them float or replant them and they'll continue to grow and so will the plant you cut it off from. I don't have any personal experience with the plant and fish because I'm still cycling my tank but at my LFS all of the fish in the tank it was growing in loved playing in it.
