I have come to the end of my tether with the gravel I'm using. I want a planted tank but the gravel I have is too big so the plants dont stay where I put them, plus the two bags that I bought were not quite enough so the roots dont go down deep which has left me no choice but to leave the sponge and lead on, even though its toxic. I don't know what to do, the gravel has to go if I'm going to keep these fish and plants alive, but how? To strip down my tank and take out the gravel seems stupid plus I would have to re-cycle.

I can't believe I thought fish would be easy to take care, children are definately not in my future.
