I went to my Lfs and they had just gotten a new shipment of bettas in and my god were they ugly! They were normal length but only about a centimeter wide and the faces were, I don't even know how to explain it...Snub nosed I guess. Their bug eyes were right next to their wierd nose I have never seen any thing like them... I felt so bad for them and whats worse is that these were sent directly from the breeder, who would breed that!
(I tried to sneek some picks but I got caught and the store owner didnt appreciate me nor did he believe my lie.... I told him the fish were beatiful and I just wanted a quick pic)
I was wondering if the way they look resulted from poor breeding or poor care? Obviously they were starved but what about the rest?
