Any ideas...

on how to DIY an in-take tube for a filter?

I bought a used aqua tech 5-15 HOB filter from someone and then sent it without the intake tube I PMed the seller and they never replied. I really don't want to let the money I paid for the filter to go to waste.

Here's a picture of the filter I have..

Any ideas?

I would say get some small pvc pipe and some elbow connectors. Cut three pieces of pvp. One long one for the part that actually goes into the water, one small one, and another long one that goes into the filter.

Connect the long piece that goes into the water to an elbow connector and the small piece to the other side and connect to another elbow connector and connect the piece that goes into filter to that one.

I'm missing the entire tube. I looked at one in wal-mart that was open and all it really is is a tube that goes down into the side of the filter with the propeller and curves out and down into the tank.

I could probably make one out of pvc... do they make pvc that small though? The tube would only be like 3/4 of an inch or so.

Do you have the sellers return address?? If so, mail it back to her with a note saying you want your money back...
