I work at a Petsmart and as one of the people who care for these animals everyday, I want to do my best to make sure they are happy and healthy. Now, one thing I have noticed about my store is the "hospital" tank we have in the back for sick fish is actually the "death" tank. Not many fish go in and come out alive. I believe this is due to the fact people do not actually medicate these fish. They just put them in there until they die.
Well anyway, I'm rambling. To make a long story short. There is a nice sized female betta in the quiet room because she has a large gray bump on her side. It is about the size of a pea. She is white, so the bump being gray makes it very very noticable. Does anyone know what this could be? I tried looking it up in our "fish diagnostics" book but I could not find it. (there are no picture guides)
I don't go back into work until Friday, but I can try and get a picture of the bump when I go in if that would help. But any advice that could help her would be awesome.
