Ant "Population Control"

Let's face it. It's almost summertime.

We get ant problems in the kitchen this time of year... every year.

Especially with the tiny black ones...

It's getting on my nerves this year.

So my question is... If a few of those ants were to "accidentally" fall into my betta's tank... would that be safe?

Probably would be ok if you are sure ants have not crawled through areas where pesticides have been sprayed.
Might stick with freezedried tubifex, daphnia, bloodworms, and pellets to be on safe side.

I've had this happen...I HATE ants!lol A couple have dropped into some of my tanks and my bettas just leave them alone, but like 1077 said, they're fine if you haven't sprayed any pesticide stuff. You could put a screen or a thick mesh over the areas that are open so the ants can't get in.
