Its a type of snail. Google Malaysian Trumpet Snail and it will bring up a bunch of info on them.

I decided to be on the safe side and not keep them. I'm mailing them to someone who said she wants them. I have enough snails/shrimp in my tank without adding ones that can breed like guppies if conditions are right.
