Zero won't eat.

It's been almost 3 weeks since I got Zero from Petco. I haven't seen him eat once. I've tried Wardley betta pellets, and the freeze dried blood worms that I have on hand, but he just sort of looks at them and then swims away. At first I thought he wasn't able to see, but now I notice that when I come in the room, he swims over to greet me..So I think he CAN see, but I just don't know why he won't eat.

Has anyone ever dealt with this before? He seems completely happy and healthy aside from not eating. He's not lethargic, does not have fin rot, etc. I realize I may have to consider euthanasia. I don't want him to suffer.

Is he acting sick?
Fish can go awhile without food
Is the water clean
Have you tried a drop or two of fresh garlic juice on his food
Are you in an area that you can gather some mosquito larva, bettas love them or guppy fry.....

He's not acting sick at all. His water is clean. I do a 50-75% WC every day, 100% WC every 2-3 days because he's in a 1.5 gal. I do not have any of that stuff on hand, though I'm sure I could go find mosquito larvae if I went into the woods because there is a small pond there..Where can I get garlic juice??

You can get garlic juice at your grocery store, i just dilute a bit of garlic powder in water and add it to thier food, maybe flakes?

Whenever my boys didn't eat, I tried flakes, then slowly converted them to pellets. Other than that, I'm no help D:

I do have betta flakes which my females seem to like the best. I'll try feeding him some. =)

I use fresh garlic and a garlic press
