i am disqusted at the betas' at my meijer and my lfs there water was very dirty with poop and at my lfs they had a dead beta still in the cup

Come to my fish store. Pretty much every single betta there is dead! I hate how they treat their bettas. >:( Makes me furious.

I know just the way you feel. Today I went to Wal-Mart and they had most of the bettas in a inch or two of water. That makes soooo mad because they were soo pretty and there was a orange one.Only if I had the room!!!!

i was half tempted to complain but i am like that wont solve anything and i did see a pretty little orange one and that exact petstore happily swimming with some other fish i wanted him but am not set up for a beta yet :( i really hate how they treat them also

I think you should complain. My complaining at one store didn't work, but at a few others, now they have crystal clear water :D

alright i might if i see them bad next time hopefully i can get mine at a petco or at petco in my state in a diffrent state were my grandmother lives who had a ton of beta's
