Question Anyone use Penn Plax Radius Glass Tank?

I am thinking about buying this tank (deciding between 5, 7.5 and 10 gallons).
I was wondering if anyone has used it and can provide reviews on the quality, filter, lid, etc. How is it for bettas?

It looks really sleek and minimal, which is what I am looking for in a tank.

I don't have any personal experience with it but reading the reviews it sounds pretty good although I do have difficulties with the curved front on my aquarium sometimes with viewing from side and I desperately want to split it.... Lol but you might not have an issue with that :)

I have the 5g tank and love the tank I did not use the filter that came with it though, way too strong for the tank size. I replaced it with the azoo 60 filter http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and since it is pretty heavily planted bought this light for it http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The light that comes with it is not adequate for growing plants imo.

The tank itself is is very nice, I personally love the rounded corners and the crystal clear views. The only negative about the tank itself is the lid set-up. The "hinges" broke the same day I set it up, but that was ok since I have to remove the lid for wc's anyway. I put the hinge brackets on and just rest the lid on top and it works just fine. It doesn't come with a heater so I added an adjustable heater. Here is a pic (I just set this tank up about 10 days ago).

That looks beautiful! I just ordered the ten gallon. I have a heater and will look into your filter and light recommendations. I'm upgrading from a 3 gallon Tetra cube so I will have a lot more space to fill with plants and decor. Thanks for sharing!

Glad to share . The female baby betta I have in the radius came from a cube too. The filter that came with the kit I ended up adding to my daughters 20g molly tank, and it works perfectly for that. I love the azoo filter because we have it in our bedroom and it is so quiet that my hubby doesn't even realize its on most of the time

Oh no, very sorry to hear that. My boyfriend says he swears they drop kick the packaging before delivering.

I believe it. I ordered another one from a different seller . . . not very optimistic. Wonder how many tanks I'm gonna end up going through!
