Aww I'm so sorry!! He was one amazing fish! He had a wonderful life while he was with you. Could it be possible that he was an older fish (maybe a breeder?) and that's why he was such an oddity for a Walmart betta (I think you got him there?)? Maybe a breeder was done with him and sent him with his other stock? Either way, you did what you could, at least he was a happy boy :)

Yeah, I found him at walmart. I didn't really think of that. Maybe he was older than I thought.
