Ashion sadly died today about an hour or so before I got off of work. He didn't show any physical signs of sickness so DF thinks it was internal and said I couldn't do anything more for the little guy but she did say at least he died happily in a much bigger tank with fresh water and someone who loved him.

RIP Ashion

The Orchid is doing fine. He seemed a bit stressed but he is slowly calming down so I'm sure he'll eat later ^.^.

That's horrible ): I'm sorry for the loss. DF is right, though. He died happily in a nice tank, instead of a tiny bowl. Odds are he still would've been there, never getting the chance to experience a nice home.

Thanks everybody ^.^.

I'm hoping Takeran will cheer up. He's sorta doing the same thing as Ashion now. RAWR. (To those wondering I had to house the two in a split tank. I did clean tank immediantly when I found out Ashion had died. I'm just hoping if Ashion had a disease he didn't give it to Takeran.) Takeran isn't showing any physical signs of any disease or infection. I used my macro lens to get up close and I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

I moved him next to one of my females in hoping that will give him some company and will cheer him up.

Just RAWR at these pet stores. (I got these two from Petco in Beaverton, OR).

:( Sad to hear Ashion died. When my Medusa died Poseidon was quite sad, but I put him by a new buddy and he perked right up... so hopefully Takeran will too! especially now that he's next to girl lol Takeran is so beautiful by the way!

Thank you! Turns out he somehow damaged his pectoral fin on the right side. So I'm putting him into a big cup that pet stores use and places him into the female's tank. (He's having trouble swimming to the top of the tank for air.) Figured that way it's easy for him to get air and on top of that he has a little female friend to flirt with ^.^.

Oh and the reason why I have to put him in her tank is because the tank he is in right now has those stupid dividors in a 2.5 gallon (thought I could rip them out but nah I was wrong lol.) So yeah the cup doesn't fit into that tank sadly.

This tank is only temp as well until DF can get a bigger tank for the little guy ^.^.
