Two Questions

Thought I'd post both questions here rather than make two threads.

1. Is this anything to be worried about? Gipper is not showing any signs of any probs, but noticed that he was a bit gold when I took a pic. The gold shows up in the first pic. The other two also show you what he looks like. No symptoms of anything, just curious about the color.

2. Does this guy look skinny? I have had piglet since December of last year. He eats with no problems, just doesn't seem to be ask "robust" as my other guys. He gets two small Aqueon pellets in the AM and two in the PM. Does he look too skinny to you? He has no symptoms of anything. He's a DBT, had a hard time swimming with all of his tail, ripped his tail on a rock, then decided that a smaller tail was better and started biting. No clamping, no lethargy, nothing. Just curious again.

And Baby Face wanted to say hello :)

I don't know about the gold dust, though he does look like he has some gold coloring too him in certain light? He's very, very pretty, btw.

Piglet looks to be about the same size as Whiskey. He's smaller then my other too also. Even from the top, they look about the same width and all. I feed him the same amount you feed Piglet.

And Baby Face is TOO cute.

The gold is probably just the light on his scales, Titan does that sometimes too.

I feed my bettas more than that, about six pellets, because they seem to need it. Plus Titan has stopped biting his tail now that I feed him more...

Fish used to have the "gold dust".. I don't think its anything to worry about.

Piglet does look a little on the thin side, maybe try upping his pellets to three per meal? Or even 2 in the am and 3 in the pm.
