ive had my betta a week and he is getting paler. hes lost a lot of color from his main body his fins seem to be fine is he. im not sure if hes sick or what i keep him in a 1.77 gallon tank with full water changes every couple of days. is he sick or has a parasite maybe?hes also had a white stripe at the top of his head since i got him.

What temperature is the tank? What is his activity like? Any pictures? How long do you keep his light on.

Try feeding him food soaked in garlic juice and add a little aquarium salt to his tank.
