Nibbler meets his new tank mates

I have always wanted a Betta/shrimp tank so after setting up my 5G and cycled it with filter media from my 10G,I got myself a beautiful Betta which I named Nibbler (after the way he nibbles at my fingers when I play chase the fingertip with him.
Today I bought 10 feeder shrimp to see how Nibbler would react (before I bought more expensive shrimp),6 of the shrimp went in my 10G and 4 into the 5G.Hehe I have never seen shrimp move so fast,Nibbler chased them around the tank until they hid in the plants and under the bogwwod.Since then he has shown little interest in them (apart from swimming down and going nose to nose with the odd one,before swimming off),except when its food time!!.I put some flakes in the day in the evening and as Nibbler started to eat a shrimp came up to eat too,though Nibbler is the the type to share his food!,he flared up and chased the shrimp around the tank a couple of times before it hid from him,then Nibbler went back to his food .
If he doesnt show anymore interest in them I'll get some more expensive ones.
