Cat hair and African Dwar Frogs

So I'm finally getting a betta this thursday (He'll live in a gallon vase until the 5 gal tank is cycled).

I just set up my tank a few hours ago and was wondering if anyone else has cats as well and has problems with hair getting in the tank?

My lid was on and everything and it's still in there! >.<

Also! I want to get some ADF's since Petsmart is having a sale and my 5 gallon will only allow for a small tank mate! =]

So ADF owners, is feeding difficult? How much time does it take? I know you have to use a turkey baster and a tiny terracotta pot base. =]

I have basset hair and cat hair in every tank in the house. And I have lids. It's hanging off the plants, it's on the driftwood. No one seems to have any trouble with it. I find that most of it gets in there from my arms when I'm digging around in the tank so I rinse and dry them really well now when I'll be rooting around.

I feel TONS better now that I know the cat hair won't hurt my (NEAR YAY!!!) future buddy! =]

Also I've decided to give my betta 2 toys I had lying around and when I get my camera back tomorrow I will record a quick video of them in the tank to show anyone reading this! =]

hahha i can never get all of the cat hair outa my tanks it seems for every hair i clean out 2 more fall in lol

it really depends on the adf i feed mine frozen bloodworms with some long tweezers sometimes it takes a while cuz my bettas like to swoop down and steal em before the frog can get em
