Unhappy Kiyoshi tore his fins >.<

I woke up this morning to find a lot of kiyoshi's tail gone, and tears in his other fins, >.<, I immediately put him in the hospital tank with a tiny bit of salt and some comfy soft pieces of hornwort to lay on, and covered his tank with a black towel...
Any other suggestions to help him out?

Does it look like Tail biting? (A pic would help a lot) Some fish just do that.... Keep him in a QT. tank for 10 days and do daily 100% WCs and add the appropriate amount of salt.

Now for some reason he is SUPER skittish and I am afraid he will hurt himself the way he tries to swim away and hits the wall, he even litterally played dead when my finger came clase to his part of the tank, he wobbled until he turned sideways and didn't move O.O
then he swam away.
