The stringy poop can be a sign of intestinal parasites or infections or indigestion. Not sure about the fin. More details about the setup would probably help.

Injured?

I woke up this morning and her little fin is fine. She is in a 1.5 gallon tank with stones on the bottom. She has a filter, heater and 2 Betta plants. I feed her 3-4 pellets of food a day. I clean her water every week, and her water temp is around 82 degrees.

What would you recommend I get for her to make her feel better and back to her adorable little self?

Thanks

Hmm, wish oldfishlady or someone would stop by, since I'm still sort of a betta-disease newbie (not to fish in general.) I'm thinking...what would I do with what I've learned...for stringy poop and normal behavior...

Ok, I'd try adding epsom salt to the water. It clears out the digestive system and has, as some have said on here, a weak antimicrobial or antiparasitic effect. You can search on here for more information on that. Discus people use it to clear the way for medicated foods. In any case, it can't hurt.
