Today I was offered a 29 gallon tank with filter, heater and wood stand for free!!! (the person is moving and does not want to take these with them - I have not seen the tank so I don't know exact types of filter, heater etc.) She also has an old cardinal tetra (she had more but they all passed away), 2 old headlight/taillight fish, and a sparkle nose sucker fish about a year old that are currently living in the tank (also free).
So my questions are 1) I have a 10 gallon tank with 3 neon tetras, 2 glass catfish, and 1 male betta- if I were to take the 29 gallon tank could I put everyone in the same tank? Will they all get along? 2) Will the 29 gallon tank be overcrowded with that many fish?
I don't have room to have the 10 gallon and the 29 gallon tanks both set up so I would need to do some rearranging if I were to accept it (If it helps I also have 2 2gallon tanks with 1 male betta each).
