Question Will this work?

I'm thinking about making a home made Betta Tank. I found a Plasic container and I was wondering if it will work. Also, How could I heat it?

Some plastic material are not fish safe, if it is human safe for food or water then it is most likely fish safe too. Some plastic contain toxins to prevent mold and fungus and other things, you can look the item up and check if you are not sure....but when in doubt....don't use it......

I know alot of people on here use the big, clear storage containers as aquariums, those seem to work fine. And a regular AQ heater (for the size tank/ container you have,) should work fine. It *shouldn't* get hot enough to melt the plastic, or it would burn your betta's fins or boil the water.
