African Dwarf Frogs

How many african dwarf frogs could be in a 10 gallon tank with one male betta fish? My brother loves frogs, and Is going to be moving Fleet into a 10 gallon soon, so he wants some ADFs too. Also does anybody have a good website about ADF care?

I have 2 African Dwarf Frogs in a 1/4 gallon tank and they seem very happy.Feed them 2 amphibian pellets each (you can buy them at Wal-mart).

From what I've read, you'll have to make sure that AFDs are in a relatively shallow tank with little to no water movement. I was looking into getting some AFDs, and found this site when I was researching http://aquaticfrogs.tripod.com/id13.html But, anyways, if you really want, you could have anywhere from 8-10 AFDs in a 10 gallon tank

I think a 1/4 gallonn tank is too small for 2 ADF's.

You have one of those "Frog o spheres" right? Those things are absolutely awful. Especially the advice that you get with them. I HIHGLY HIHGLY recommend that you upgrade them to at least a two gallon! 1/4g is no were NEAR enough space for one, let alone two frogs.

To the OP:

10 ADFs with one betta is the most I'd do. In fact, I'm thinking of doing it myself. :)

Thanks for the info! The website helped! So how shallow do you think the water should be? Also how do they reproduce? Because we wouldn't want them to spawn, so is there any way to prevent it?

You should have 1 gallon per frog. thats awful that there are 2 in something that is only 1/4 a gallon!!! I have also read things saying to keep your water half full or something so they can get to the top but mine have no trouble getting to the top of their 5 and 10 gallons when they are full of water. And they like frozen bloodworms ALOT more then the pellets. I can barely get mine to eat the pellets.
