Bloat?

Having problems with Roscoe ALWAYS bloating up. Seems like no matter how little I feed him he always looks swollen. He is getting the pellets just like everyone else. Except much less. I feel sorry for the guy. I mean, I bring him home, he goes - what was it, something like 13 days before he eats, and now he is eating fine just swelling up. Sunday was fasting day. Yesterday I gave him a little bit of a pea, he pooed, but he still looks swollen. What else should I do for the guy? He always looks like he is starving, normal I know.

Besides looking bloated what other symptoms does he have?

None. He looks fine. He acts fine. Just swells up. Sometimes he looks worse than others. Usually after Sunday [fasting day] he will look more normal sized. But yesterday he was still pudgy. That's why I gave the pea. He did go down some but still not the sleek and trim like Buster & Jack. They get 3 pellets in the mornings and 4 in the evenings. Poor ol' Roscoe is getting 1 or 2 in the mornings and 1 or 2 in the evenings. I know there stomach is the size of their eye but still.

If he doesn't have any other symptoms beside the bloat after feeding, and he is swimming fine and pooping fine, I would not worry and feed him on a regular basis like your other fish- but feed only small amount more frequently, like one pellet 2-3 times a day along with your normal fast and Pea day.
Is his body shorter than your other fish and what kind is he?
