Exclamation how long without a heater?

ive had to move two of my female bettas into a other tank because they were been bullied. how long could they go without a heater its about 80 f now how long will it stay like that im keeping my room very warm (im boiling to death)

Bettas can live with out heat but they thrive best when the temps are kept at 80 as its summer your tank is likely to stay at 80+ in the day but lower at night when it cools

The problem with not having a heater is, as Welsh says, that the temperature will change from day to night--temperature fluctuations are more dangerous than low temperatures. Try to keep the temperature as stable as possible until you can get your heaters. You could always put your girls into individual gladware/tupperware containers and float them in the larger tank (cut holes in the lids, of course). You would have to change the water every day.

the girls are fine this morning temperture dropped only a bit.going to get heater tonight. thanks for the advice!
