Question Is it ich? Is it fungus? Is it normal?

So I'm not sure if there's anything wrong with my Gyarados, I just wanted an opinion.

For about a 2 months, I've had Gyarados share a divided 1.25gallon tank with Seaking (in my avatar). I'm in the process of cycling their new home (a divided 10gal), but today I decided to put Gyarados in his own 1gal kritter keeper and put his tank in my room for observation.

He's real skittish. He's always been a spaz. He usually gets scared whenever I put my finger up to the glass and swims away.

Since I got him, he's had this silver coloring all under his face, and little spots of silver on his face. I think it's gotten brighter since I got him.

I'm pretty sure it's not ich, cause it's not all powdery or all over. It's just a spot or two of silver/grey... and blotches of silver underneath. Is it fungus? Is it a parasite?

Been feeding him pellets and freeze dried bloodworms (once a week).

For the first month, I only did a water change one a week, but for the last 3 weeks, I've been doing 100% changes like, every other day (since he was in such a small space). I've also been adding aquarium salt for about a month every time I do a water change. I have in my possession Melafix, Pimafix, Bettafix, and this QuICK Cure stuff. Should I be using any of these?

Anyone know what the silvery spots are? I'm not sure if it's just his color...

I think it might just be his scales, but IF it is something, it may be velvet.?

If he's had it since you got him, it's probably just his coloration. I had a red CT who had the same look under his face (you can see it in the photo below). If it isn't spreading and he isn't showing any symptoms like clenched fins, lethargy, or has stopped eating for example, I wouldn't do a thing other than keep up regular water changes. Don't add any meds. Keep an eye on him for any other symptoms.
