Question Ikki is sick

and I'm stumped what it is. My bettas stay healthy so i only know basic illnesses and how to treat them, but Ikki is sick and I have no idea whats going on.
She has her colour, in fact she is displaying vertical bars. I have her isolated of course. But she will sit at the surface of the water and just slowly float to her side. She has trouble swimming cause she'll just float to the surface again. She isnt bloated and looks completely fine on the outside. Oh she also has the appetite of a pig. (O,o) She's been like this for 6 days now.
Well if you have an idea what i can do to help her I would appreciate hearing about it.

shes in a 5 gallon tank with a filter, i do water changes once a week the last one was saturday. The only water additives i put into every tank is that aqua safe stuff, unless my fishy is sick then i put in medicine accordingly and the water temp is 78 degrees. I've had her in this set up for about 6 months, as long as I've had her.

Sounds like maybe SBD?

Have you tried fasting her for a few days? I hear that sometimes gets everything set back up.

Fishy experts please correct me if I'm wrong.

I would step up the water changes to 50% daily, lower the water level or better yet put her in QT and make daily 100% water changes with Epsom salt 1tsp/gal for 10 days- put veggie wrap over the top to get the air above the water warm and humid and get the water temp in the 80F area, hold food for 3 days then give half feedings ever-other day during the 10 day treatment.
I would do this if the fasting alone did not work. If it is swim bladder infection and when caught early the natural treatment will work, however, if it is advanced you may need to use a broad spectrum antibiotic.
