I still like my job, don't get me wrong, but I don't tolerate stupidity of this level very well:

(A woman and her two children enter, So naturally I grab two kid's menus and one adult menu. After seating them I get their drink orders.)

Me: (hands the two kid's cups to the children, and the large glass to the woman)

Woman: So, my drink comes with my kids meal, right? and I get free refills, right? (pulls out 3 free kids meal coupons from her purse, two for her children, and apparently one for herself)

Me: I'm sorry ma'am, you have an adult menu. But yes, your drink comes with free refills.

Woman: But does my drink come free with our kids meals?

Me: I was not aware you wanted a kids meal, you'll have to talk to your server about that. I'll go grab him for you.

(I go back to the kitchen to inform their server of the situation. He leaves the kitchen and makes his way to the table)

Server: Hi, so what can I do for you?

Woman:(orders from the adult menu, and immediately complains):

Woman: Your host gave me a big drink! I'm not paying for this, I want a kid's meal!

Server: Ma'am, you're holding an adult menu, and kids meals are for children 12 and under only.

Woman: and your point is?
