Greying head

Hello. I'm new to betta habitating and have a turquoise half moon betta with a greying head. He is a petsmart fish who is a new addition to my aquariums. I noticed the greying shortly after I brought him home. I have treated that tank with ich because of an issue with community tank which I share equipment with. I also thought that they may have some type of secondary fungal or bacterial infection that just may be showing differently. He is in a ten gallon tank with another male betta (divider between them). The other male is doing fine. Ph is normal, amonnia at .25 due to medicating (erythromycin), no nitrites or nitrates, aquarium salt added with water changes weekly (or every few days since medicating)-but the grey head symptom has not changed. I need some help here. I don't want to lose him. He is eating just fine and swimming around. No other symptoms.

Oh, a pic would def help. If it is clumnaris then you're other betta is at risk since they share a tank. Click the "Go Advanced" button then go to manage attachments. You can Google columnaris & see images, if you haven't already.

Hmm, I don't think its columnaris, I think its his coloring. I've not personally dealt with columnaris so all of my "knowledge" is from research.
Here's a link that may be helpful:
http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/Columnaris.html

Hopefully someone else will chime in & give their opinion but I honestly don't think he has columnaris.
