baby guppies

Well my sis went on vacation and she left me with her bettas, which will be no problem to take care of and she also gave me her 8 baby guppies to take care of.. i've never taken care of baby guppies, so i have some questions.

1. what size tank should i put them in? would a 10 gal be okay.. or would it be too big?

2. what all do they eat? my sis has been feeding them normal crushed guppy flakes and they've been growin like crazy O.o is there anything more nutritious?

3. two of the babies are a little older than the other six will it be a problem to keep them together?

these may be duh questions but i wanna be sure i dont kill my sister's guppies lol

10 gallon is perfect. flakes are fine, i think there is fry food available but i've read flakes are fine. and it's okay that a few are older, guppies are very peaceful and easy fish to care for. i'm sure you'll do fine. i've had 30+ guppies of different ages in a 10 gal feeding crushed flakes for many months! so you're doing great! have fun with the guppies. :)

Aw, you made me miss my guppies. Good luck, and soon those 8 will multiply so a ten gallon is a good idea.
