They do, don't they? We were kind of wondering that ourselves. One of them kind of has some sort of film on it. Do you think he might have popeye? And could it be caused by his bloating and bad fins?

I am not exactly sure. But put him in the bare bottom hospital tank. How much do you feed him?

Here is a chart of health problems by Betty Splendens, http://bettysplendens.com/articles/p...?articleid=930

Right now I'm not feeding him anything because the problem started out with him being constipated. So I've been fasting him the last three days and gave him an Epsom salt bath yesterday which seemed to help a little.

He's been better since I put him in the hospital tank. He's using both fins to swim now again. Poor guy. I feel like a bad mom. ):

I would try some Daphnia if he is still willing to eat.

Well the problem with that is, I live in a pretty small town. The nearest big city is at least an hour away. We plan on making a trip there sometime soon to see about getting him some better things for his aquarium. But at the moment we have no access to it.

My husband is going to pick up some frozen peas today and I'm going to do the blanched pea thing today to see if that'll help.

I hate not feeding him anything while he's sick because I know with humans the best thing to help fight sickness in most cases is plenty of good food.

Oh okay. The Blanched De-Shelled Pea should work.
