Ammonia Question, Pls Read

Hi I have a question, its about ammonia. So say your betta poos, which drops to the bottom of the tank. I know it will start to create ammonia, but is it like there is a certain amount it will release and then stop, or will it continue to continue to create ammonia until it is removed? Because my tank is quite planted and its hard to thouroughly clean the gravel with a gravel vac, so I believe that I miss some of the poo. However, the water gets changed, but if the poo constantly builds up ammonia, then that will polute the water more. Hopeully someone knows!

Depending on what type of plants you have-they should be using the ammonia for food before it ever hits levels over 0.25ppm that can be harmful to the fish..provide that you are not over feeding the fish, stocking level, filtration, tank size...etc.... and the plants are actively growing

Thanks so much, so I guess its okay if I leave some poo in the gravel and still do water changes. This was really helpful!
