Question about All-Glass Versa-Tops

Hi all,
I'm buying a hood for my 5 1/2 Gallon tank, but the description for them on Foster's didn't describe how the light fixtures are applied. Does anyone own one of these and know how their set up?

I have these hinged glass lids for my two 10-g's. The canopy with the lights is sold separately:

And are those canopy's just put ontop of the lids?

But yeah, you just put the canopy on top of the glass lid:

You just set the light on top of the lid behind where it hinges. You can cut the plastic portion at the back to accommodate a filter or heater cord.

ETA.. you don't want to put a canopy over a glass lid. You just choose one or the other. I've heard that glass lids are better because they have less holes and you can cut them to specially fit where your filter/ heater exit the tank. The light is more evenly dispersed through a glass hood.

Okay, thanks for your help- I think I'll go with a glass lid. But what type of light should I put on it? Something like this?

Yeah a strip light will work just fine with that. That's the set up I have for my 20 high.. glass top and a strip light.
