Do you know how old he is? If he is close to or over a year you could talk the breeder down because the fish would be past its prime makeing it deffinatly a pet betta.

He's 4 months old and the seller's Aquabid id is Greatbettas.
I might or might not get a female depending on how much the seller is asking for them. I already spent $5 more that I could've just because I didn't want to be wondering if my bid would win or not.
I liked that the seller had the video, imo it makes it less likely that the fish will be much different from the picture.

You should never get a fish different from the picture. Unless you ordered a geno betta. But if it dont say geno or the breeder didnt tell you geno. Then you should get the pictured fish. Also if you are going to breed down the road and your going to spend that much money getting fish over sea's. I would get the best fin and fourm you can find. you dont want to work years and years trying to better the fish. Anyway look at the first ray's of the dorsal, It need's a lot of improvment.. And if your not going to breed then go check out bettysplendens.com she has great fish without spending a 100 on shipping. And her fish are still good breeding fish. Just thought i would throw it out there

Thanks! I really don't plan to breed and if I ever do, it will be for personal enjoyment not for showing.
I really was looking for a fish I would fall in love and this is it! I think he's beautiful and that's all I want him for, to take care and look at :D
I did get the female sibling for a much lower price than what the seller was asking for because I've always wanted a HM female and I thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of the shipment instead of having one shipped at another time.
I just wish I could house 3 more! LOL!
