Personally I love Black Dragon HMPK. I've seen HM Black dragons but they just don't look as good IMO. Reds I would love to do a HMDBT.. but I also like a nice red HMPK.

The only problem with short fins is that they tend to be a little more aggressive than longfins and you have more risk of the pair beating each other up.

**I feel like I'm talking about "The Land Before Time".. Sharptooths and Longnecks LOL**

I like the Black Dragon HMPK, as well. I will most likely go with that, because I really do like them. But my problem is finding a good looking pair and as you said about how aggressive they can be.

Awwww. "The Land Before Time" was awesome. I used to watch them over and over when I was a kid.

There's always the possibility when you work with PKs that you'll get spawns that are mixed with shortfins and longfins, which would be very interesting to work with, in my opinion. To start with, you might try working on form with extended reds, since extended red is dominant--you can work on form while not having to worry as much about color. From there you can take the nice form you achieved in your red line and work that into a non-red line. That's how I'd do it anyway, lol. If you like to be surprised and get different colors in your spawn, you could start out with working with non-reds.

I saw it. I really would love to breed a Purple with the silvery dragon pattern with silvery eyes.
