My sorority, Question?

I finally put my sorority together. And well it has been going good. Crimson is Alpha but the others have found holes in my gravel where they can get in and out of away from Crimson. Sometimes I can't find a specific female. I look and look , wait a little bit and suddenly she appears. Will they be alright or should I go ahead and take Crimson out?

How many do you have in the tank?
If you have 4 or more then I would leave her in there, my females chase each other now and again but its nothing aggressive, when they settle in they should be fine, if you notice serious damage to the other girls then that is when you should remove her IMO.

There is 5 in the 20 gallon long, including Crimson. I have two more I am going to put in there. All they have is some minor tears in their fins nothing a little clean water won't fix. When Crimson swims by they hide until she is at the other end of the tank.

Do you have plants, hiding places?

The other females won't feel as stressed if there are hidey holes and plants in the tank :)

Also, you want to have several tall items in the tank to help break the "line-of-sight". Something that go all the way to the top of the tank, like plants or decorations in the back and side.
This will help allow the other females to get to the top for a gulp of air without being seen to help reduce their fear and stress

I have never had a problem with Betta jumpers. I did have a Snowflake eel jump out once.
